HALO WARS 2

I worked on Halo Wars 2 as a Trainee Level Designer at Creative Assembly. During the project I got to work on both single player and multiplayer levels using their in house custom engine and visual scripting system.

 

Some of the responsibilities that I undertook during the project were:

​

  • Singleplayer level design,creation and iteration from whitebox through to production.

  • Multiplayer level design,creation and iteration from whitebox through to production.

  • Singleplayer mission scripting to create unique, fun and interesting gameplay encounters for players.

  • Singleplayer difficulty balancing, factoring in encounter escalation and narrative beats.

  • Multiplayer map resource placement and balancing to incentivise fun and interesting combat encounters between players and highlight key points of interest in each map.

  • In game dialouge and cutscene implementation, for both narrative progression and important gameplay notifications.

  • Bug Fixing
